whenever i start Gothic it works for about 40 sec. and the it freezes
what do i do???
windows 98
Motherboard: - ???
Processor: - intel pentium 3 450 mhrz
Memory: - 128MB RAM
Video Card: - 16MB Dynimite TNT upgraded driver |

You should return the game if you still can. Your machine is not fast enough to have <i>fun</i> with Gothic.
-install DirectX8.1
-run DxDiag.exe and check for problems
-disable sound in the gothic.ini to find out if your sound card causes the trouble

actually, if you upgrade your graphics card, and preferably get a bit more ram the game should work fairly well, i ran it on 64MB GF2, celeron 500, 384MB
i now have an athlon XO 1800+ and 256 MB DDR RAM gothic 2 should work great;) |

NAA im not going to bother bringing it back i only paid 10 bucks for it but thatnx for the clear answear to my quastion.
i geuss im going to have to upgrade my pc i have to buy a new one anyway cause this one is truely to slow for me! HAHAHA
