Hi All
I hope someone can help me, I'm stuck in the "Dark Passageway" trying to get across the moving footbridges and just cant seem to find the right combination to rise all the bridges up together so I can cross to the other side.
Can anybody give me some advice on correct combination of Skeleton, Zombie, Lich and Banshee to touch and in which order?

Hi, ciberquin, nice to meet you. It is nice to see new people around, the forums were a little stale in the past weeks.
I am sorry that I cannot help you with your problem, but I haven't really played much M&M IX (I really played very little in the beginning). I am sure, though, that soon someone more knoledgable than me will turn up and help.
On the other hand, you would have had a much bigger success with that, had you posted your question in the General RPG forum, rather than the DnD General forum (I was told once that there was a Might & Magic forum, but it was closed due to lack of interest). But don't worry about that, soon one of the mods will move the topic where it belongs. |

I hate to link to another site, but here is the quest walk through from Celestail Heavens ... one of the few remaining M&M sites out there.
The relevent section is (I believe):

Hint 1: The scrap of paper you found when you first came in Hint : It's simpler than you think. Ignore all the details in the note (like "X" doesn't obey "Y", etc.) Hint 3: Notice the sequence of capitalized names. SPOILER: Touch the statues in the same order as the note. You will have to swim a couple times. If you goof up, climb the ladder and touch the big statue to reset the bridges to their starting point.
