Quest log on PC
   

On the PC version there a Quest log or do I need to keep up with the Quest my hand? (I've been writing them down so not to forget them)

You have a quest log icon on your screen on the lower right, a red book. Click it and you get more options including the quests. Notes are a good idea however as the log can be lacking in some parts and too wordy in others.
