if you are an aprentice to harad he can teach you the basics... but because you arent a mercenary you wont really be able to improve your skills until chapter 4, in the castle a dragon hunter named jan wants to be the smith, if you help him then he will teach you how to forge

I didn't want to open new topic for this. Can anyone tell me where can you find some ore for forging the ore sword? It would be good if I could buy it somewhere in Khorinis, because, I don't want to go all the way to the Valley of mines again.

at the bandits lair near the Mercenaries camp there is a cave, just outside Dexter's house, in here you will find some ore.

lol if u could import your gothic 1 character in gothic 2 with all of his stuff you could bring garond the 200 damn boxes he needed problems what problems here take my ore i have plenty, keep the change

by the way i think it's damn impressive that ourunnamed hero can carry 50 animal hides 25 diffrent kinds of weapons 4000 arrows and 30.000 gold not to mention the other junk he is carying, and sn't even slowed in his movement.

does he have a magic bag or smething where he puts all the stuff?
