Gauging interest in a sponsored SpellForce 2 online tourname

Aspyr Media, the US publisher of SpellForce 2, is thinking of hosting a multiplayer tournament on an upcoming weekend. We're trying to reach out to the US community and would love to see if there's any interest - what do you guys say?

lol, no worries...that's why we're looking at ways to build up the community. We'll have something definite within the next few weeks, so be sure to check back.

Multiplayer match-ups

So we (Aspyr) are planning to hold some sort of community contest in the upcoming weeks. For now though, starting today, Friday, June 9th, and every MW and F afterwards, Aspyr will be hosting online multiplayer matches from 4pm to 6pm. At any point during those times, just sign on (or create an account if you haven't already), and enter the multiplayer English language lobby of SF2. There you'll find the people who helped develop the game itself, and maybe, just maybe, you can teach them a thing or two about real-time strategy.

Good luck.

No you're not, Gorath. I am too! BTW, where the heck is your review?!

jchen, you should post this over on the official SF2 boards as well. Also, what time zone are the "play the developers" sessions?

Good idea - we're getting in contact with JoWood (SF2's European publisher) to get the message up on the official boards as well.

As for time zones, thanks for pointing that out - the matches are held MWF 4pm-6pm Central Daylight Time (CDT), which converts to 21:00 to 23:00 UTC/GMT.
