gameplay help: getting away with ship

I have played gothic 2 to the point, where i suppose to travel by the ship to some island, i have all the men in the boat and so on, but i can't leave, what i have overlooked? and oh, vatras wanted to join me aswell, but i have too many men aboard and he cant join, because on board of ship i can not talk to anybody, who i have selected into my crew, there is only end

so please if someone understood my problem, can you help me

you have to go to captains bedroom to the bed and just before u reach the bed, u will see a cinematic and ur journey will start.
