Xardas's Key

Hi. I have a key to the chest belonging to Xaedas. How do I get into the room behind the gate? Thanks much. Fred

The key is for a chest in his tower, it's in the same room as the key. To open the metal gate you press a secret switch on the right hand side of the fireplace.

In which chapter are you?If you are in chapter 1 or 2 then that key opens the chest on the upper floor of Xardas' tower and not the chest behind the iron gate.(that chest is oppened).If you are in chapter3 then that key opens a chest at Sekob's House.
