| TES: How to change Trader inventory ? |
|
Hi all,
I want to change some of the items vedors sell, mostly alchemical components. I cannot seem to do this. Could someone please give me a prod in the right direction ?

I have a related question and instead of making a new topic i'ladd it here it is: How do you change how much gold a merchent has and how much the buy junk off you (like the Creeper buys for full price). |

There's a small box somewhere in the AI window for bartering gold. As for customizing sales lists, I'm not sure (having never tried it), but I think if you mark an item as belonging to that npc, or put it in a container belonging to the npc, that they will sell it. Such as items on shelves etc. One thing I am sure of, if you want it to be a regenerating item (eg having 50 arrows every day to sell), make the count a negative number (eg -50). That way, unless the player steals the item, the npc will always have more to sell.

| Here is how to change Gold. |
|
Open your NPC for editing.
Click "AI"
Choose the "Services" tab
In there is a field called "Barter Gold", set it at what you want.

| Changing number of regen item |
|
I thought it would be as simple as changing the number of items, but I cannot make it work. I set an item as "-50", save the plugin, load up Morrowind, enable the plugin and load my game. The vendor still has the usual number to sell.

Well, after more mucking about I can create a new vendor, put him in the Balmora Guild of Mages (always half embedded in the floor but nevermind) and have him sell ingredients. What I can't do is change what Ajira sells.
I guess I'll just have to make my own vendor. Once I work out how to place him properly.
