Morrowind: Wizard's Islands Mod Interview

An interview with the Wizard's Islands mod team can be downloaded in word format at Morrowind Summit. Here's an excerpt for you:

What new locations and settings will be seen in Wizards' Islands?

Xill - I really don't want to spoil anything; I can only say a few for the first chapter: high mountains, forests, frozen lakes, underwater ruin, dungeons, caves & town.

Gimli - You'll be able to travel across vast frozen fields, through icy lakes, into dense pine forests, and onto snowy mountain peaks... you name it. There is also a large, single, predominant town on the island that the story revolves around and several dungeons, a few of which are fairly large.

Phaet2112 - The winter landscape is mountainous but with a thick network of underground passageways and hidden locations. The idea is that this land has its own history, and various people have carved their own little niche for survival into the bare rock. And the forest offers, well...trees. Everyone needs trees! The cathedral is fantastic, as well as the underground areas done by our designers.

intelligentsia - With Wizards' Islands we are hoping to achieve a scope of landscapes more akin to Dungeon Siege than Morrowind.
Once again, thanks to Kikosan for that newsbit.
