| The marked stones in the crypts-- frustrating... |

Hi guys,
Moderate spoiler alert
I've been playing through Arx checking a very comprehensive walkthrough on Neoseeker when I get stuck (couldn't figure out the wine>flour thing for the goblins, or where to look for kidnapped Shany), but this one thing has me stumped and the walkthrough is of no help. I'm at the final puzzle and I only have five of the marked stones. No-one seems to have taken the extensive effort to figure out where each one originates-- which I can totally sympathize with, but leaves me in a situation of having no bloody idea what to do. All I know for sure is that there's only one on level 3, and I have it already. I've been seraching the levels over and over, and the game's been slowly sinking from fun and atmospheric to jaw-grindingly banal, especially with the incredibly long loading times on my PC... but that's a different topic, sorry!
Anyways... would anyone mind giving me a hand as to where the marked stones are located? I'd really appreciate it  .
I remember in particular I have the ones from
--Level Three
--The Vampire's Tomb
--One from a corpse
That's all 
Oh, and also... I went in with one stake and have picked up all those I've seen on the way, but I've still got a zombie after me with no way to kill it on level three. Very annoying. Am I missing an obvious cache of them or something? Or is it just a matter of collecting them throughout the game?

Hi,
If you want a great walkthrough you need to get the official one from here. Go to the Arx hosted site and download the PDF file. It is a total walkthrough and will answer all your questions. Even how to make stakes for youself if you need them. You may have to leave the crypt to get what you need to make more. A hint, keep a few of the lever looking sticks in your inventory. You will need them whole.
If after you check the walkthrough here you still need help, post again. But I think you will find all you need. Have fun.
