| Gothic 2 Addon Gone Gold! |

The <a href="http://www.piranha-bytes.com/addon/content_german/news_headlines.php" target="_blank">official homepage</a> for the Gothic 2 Addon says it all: The German version of the addon has gone gold and thus should hit stores on August 20th as planned. Still no word about an English version at all!

Oh, thatīs already about all the info it gives, Ammon.
The somewhat literal translation would be:
"ADDON 09.08.03: 'The Night of the Raven' has gone GOLD
Not all that shines is gold. But
at least our "shiny" AddOn
"The Night of the Raven"
now is. That means the completed
game on the goldmaster is now on
the way to the CD factory.
There are even witnesses for it  . The finalization of the master took place
with PC Games attending, who spent two funny days at our place for
shooting a video.
Effective immediately the multiplication and pressing of the box covers begins.
Accordingly it wonīt take long until the final release date will be announced in
the upper right corner of this website.
Another info, btw: The AddOn will be published in a DVD Box."

i was shocked, yesterday i saw 3 copies of it at Fry's Electronic Store. Has anyone else seen it in a store in the U.S.? Not like i needed another copy but it cool to know that stores are actually importing it. Atari is sooo screwed...i really hope there'll be an english add-on. |

That's very interesting. In the G2 forum someone else mentioned that they had seen it in a store in San Diego... (was that you?)

I think the UK will have the translation and gogamers will distribute it again.
