I did make a Mod patch to fix the german text and other enhancements for Uk 1.31 but only a few people took up the offer. 
For those who have the USA version, is there a different version number higher than 1.31? Also, what new things have been added... 
I wonder if a patch is ever going to be released for Uk 1.31, there is no news of one.
If the US version is much better, I am selling my Uk copy and getting the US version. Only Mods made for that version will work for it. So much for European version 1.31 for a patch and bug fixes...it is not like I did not try...but not enough interest...maybe when Raven is released next year...

Thanks Gorath. It would seem the two English UK and US version are different. I should be getting my copy of US version soon from EBgames.com (with a $10 rebate makes it 30$ US).
It means that any patches for Uk and US will be different, I think. I would hope they would release at least a patch for UK to make it on par with US version. It makes a person feel that they lost the money on a better version release.
I do not know of any patches for UK; maybe the US version is not that much different. Does anyone have it yet to see any differences in bug fixes or voice acting? Maybe it is not that big of a deal.
Mmmm, maybe I should keep both copies for the heck of it. Never know what compatible version Raven may come out in first. I am just wishing (whining?) I got the final 'best' one first I guess.

I think someone screwed up somewhere in my local EB shop. The web says it costs $40, but I only payed $20. 
Also it has the sticker of the price just titled Gothicc. Is this right or did one of the stocker mess up? I'm not complaining though.  |

I seen in Best Buy stores a Gothic 1 collectors editions. Basically it is gothic 1 all in one small box with manual as a E-PDF file on disk. I guess to sell the first one with the release of the G2 version.
Make sure it is G2 and US version...Lok at the box cover closely, many stores are selling the Uk version as the US version.
Anyone know the thread for any differences between the two versions yet?

I noticed ther post counter is not working . All the post are stuck at the same number of post; is there something wrong with the iteration counter? I thought I might mention it..
Oh I guess it is working...  ..need to lay off the Swamp Weed.
