Wouldn't it be great if us humans had the ability to willingly put ourselves into a coma and preprogram a timer into our subconscious minds so that we could wake up at a specific date (when Gothic 2 is released for example..).

I thought it was going to be a shooter (FPS,TPS type) game, same old, same old. But it's not at all! There is some shooting, yes... but most of what you do especially at the start, is drive around 1930's New York and gape in awe at the realism and size of the map you get to drive around in. The graphics is fantastic. Some parts are annoying and initially, there may be too much driving ie, 1930's cars are sluggish and not too easy to control, but once you get the hang of it and get to steal/upgrade to better cars... you're sailing with a cool smile!
If you liked Mafia get GTA3 to help pass time. I think GTA Vice City comes out on PC sometime this month... (I might be wrong) I hear that is even better than GTA3.

Certainly, but they changed all their sites shortly after the announcement was made. They did all the thinking before they made the announcement.

Only one of the recently locked threads was, technically speaking, yours.
There are different reasons to lock threads - for example, when there are other, older threads with the same topic, or if the same topic is already being discussed in a series of other threads. There's no need to start multiple threads about one and the same topic.
I haven't heard anything new about Atari and Gothic II.

Jaz.. do you know if Atari are working on any other games or are they mainly concentrating on GII right now..? ofcourse i know they will have other things but i mean bigger projects that GII?
