Some questions on Arx Fatalis
   

1) The title "Arx Fatalis", what it supposed to mean?, is it a name for particular city?, or it's related to building structures underground?.

2) How long the game last if we try to find every quests or explore every corners of the game world?.

3) Any quicksave & quickload keys? Any improvement in loading time (in international/english version)?

4) I am concern about control when using/casting spells. Isn't there will be difficulty/get annoying when we needed to draw runes (magic symbols) correctly while avoiding attack from enemy, maintaining to cast spells in right direction, and still all the while try to remember the right combinations of runes (there is 20 runes and 50 different spells available), and pressing keys on keyboard in right order; all these seem to be a daunting task for me.

Can't tell you much about your first 3 questions, but for the fourth, you can pre-cast 3 spells for instant access during combat which should give you some breating room.

1.)

Arx Fatalis is Latin:

arx: castle, refuge

fatalis: fateful, of fate, ill-fated

'Refuge of Fate' could be the English Title.

2.) The game is short if you solve the main quests only (~60-70 hours), if you want to do everything ~90-100 hours - there are some very hard to solve side-quests in Arx.

3.) I played the german version, initial release: buggy, first patch: fixed the worst bugs, but not all. I have not tested the current patch for better loading times.

4.) casting is fun, combat is challenging and well balanced.
