| Fork of Horpilation - Sheogorath no longer talking! |

I've run into a problem.
I've been assigned the Fork of Horpilation quest by Sheogorath. I've gone to the island, got the Fork, and killed the Bull Netch (killed all of them in the area just in case).
I went back to Sheogorath and he's no longer talking! I hit SPACEBAR and nothing happens! Could it be that by stealing his offering and killing the Dremora Lord somehow I've released Sheogorath's soul back to Oblivion?
Has anyone encountered this problem? How do I get him to talk to me again?

Did you kill Dagoth Ur and finished the main quest? If so, they are gone...  |

Nope. I've been purposely avoiding the main quest because I'm having too much fun running around the island. 
The only thing I did do was kill the Dremora Lord that popped out after looting Sheogorath's offering (i.e. the usual plate of gems and coins). Perhaps that was enough to silence the spirit inside the statue.
Oh well, not like I was going to use the reward item anyway. I'll know better next time: "Complete quest then steal offering."

Did you kill the Netch with the fork?
You have to in order for the quest to be completed. |

Let see if I can answer all the "newbie" questions before they're asked
- I have gotten the quest assigned by Sheogorath in the sewers of St. Delyn in Vivec
- I have found the fork (yes it IS the magical fork)
- I have used the fork in my hand to kill ALL Bull Netches on the island (there were 2 of them).
- I have gone back to Sheogorath with the fork and he is no longer talking.
... and yes I have used SPACEBAR on him. I've been playing for a month now... I don't get this far without knowing how to do a "kill-this" quest 
I just hope I didn't mess up the Oreyn Bearclaw quest too.
