Old Mine never collapsed

The Old Mine never collapsed! If you enter after the collapse, you'll find that everything is as normal (almost). Miners are still digging ore and guards still patroling.

I think the whole 'Collapse' story was manufactured by the Ore Barons to convince their camp they had to attack and take over the free mine. But the truth is that they probably just want more ore and get fatter.

The guards were probably told to jump outsiders in the Old Mine, so no one would find out. Unfortunately most guards are too weak and were overwhelmed by the Templars. But Asghan, the guy who guards the gate to the minecrawlers... he's slain all three Templars I got to go down there earlier!!

The OM gate was closed in chapter 6 (not sure about 5). I think they should have done it in chapter 4, so that people won't feel so weird about people being alive inside.

Yeah, the OM gate is closed but you can get through it.

On the right side is a huge nugget of ore on the other side of the gate. go up close to it and click on 'use'. You'll appear on the inside.

Unfortunately, to get out you'll have to cheat.

Well, in real life that won't happen...

Yeah... the old mine gate closes at the start of Chapter 4, which is right after you hand the very last focus to Saturas.

But sometimes there's a bug and it doesn't close... like the first time I played.

If you entered in chapter four or five it wouldn't have made a difference if you got down there earlier. Asghan and Ian are invincible in those chapters, not sure about chapter six though.

Asghan and Ian remain immortal until the bitter end, i.e., they're still invincible in chapter 6.

Yep, that's right. A bit unfair that way. They're just lousy guards in the old mine. Even all the Templars down there aren't immortal.

No, they're working as usual. If you read the thread, the old mine never collapsed.

Anyway, I think Cor Angar and Saturas also remain immortal. Who else?
