Infos needed from those who have a non-German Gothic 2!

We would like to make a feature showing the different box layout and the stuff included, plus an availability list. To achieve this we need some data and packshots.
Please post country specific infos in this thread. If you have digicam pics or scans please mail them to the new address in my profile.

You can also use this thread to let us know in which country you´ve purchsed the game. Others can use this info to verify if it´s in stores.

Sample info:
German version
in stores in D, A, CH
DVD box sized card box, twice as thick. can be opened up like a book.
75 page manual in 4 color print
addendum, 4 pages, 4 color print
registration card, black & white
3 CDs in two jewel cases, also 4 color print
photos soon.

Thanks.

OK, as I already posted on another thread:
The game got here around last weekned (08-06), only to a specific computer games store that imports games to Israel.
The game cost 220 NIS (New Israeli shekels) which is equivalent 48$ or 42 Euro (This is about the regular price for a game in here):
English Version
The box is quite the same as described by Gorath
Haven't really checked the length of the manual, and I'm at work now. However, the manual is quite nice, and icludes tutorial (and spoilers) for the first chapter - Can't really see the fun in that.
I don't think I saw a registration card there, which is quite surprising.
Have no scanner\digital camera....

The manual is real high quality, loads of useful info, explains all the aspects of the game, great translation. It is far better then the gothic manual!

Polish Version
The Game is available since 16.04.2003
The Game costs 25$
It's available in most game shops. If you want to order it trought internet you can get it on www.ultima.pl for example.
A card Box that is as big as a A4 sheet of paper, it opens from the bottom and the top.
In The bottom-right corner there is an red PL sign ( Polish version )
A 64 pages long manual. The cover is colorfull but the inside is black and white.
A black and white registration card.
A coupon wich allows you to buy the first part of Gothic for 10$ It's black and white
4 Cd's. 3 Contain the game and the fourth one contains bonus stuff. Like:
GothicI demo, Gothic logos for you mobile phone, wallpapers and some artwork. And the Cd's are in two X2 Cd's jewel casses. Each Cd has a different color.
The translation both, of the manual and the game is great.

I'll make some photos later today, and send them.

UK calling! England to be precise, Hampshire in fact .

Received my copy of the English version in the post yesterday from an independent UK store that imports from the USA and also gets most UK releases a day or so before the main chains.

DVD case as described, 70 page manual plus blue and white registration card pre-paid to Infogrames United Kingdom Limited (so presumably the store got it within the UK and not by import). Three CDs squashed into one side of the DVD case, unhelpfully labelled Install 1 and 2 plus Play - unhelpful because you put the Play one in to install the game, wasn't quite expecting that but I've played enough adventures games to be able to work out that particular puzzle without need for a hint sheet !

No other loose paper, no map or photos etc. The manual does the business, rather similar looking to the MW one.

I think it's worth people adding two other points in their replies, which in my case are as follows:-

First, no installation or running problems, smooth as anything on what is admittedly a high-end system (Athlon 2400, 1GB DDRAM, Geforce 4 TI 4800, Creative Audigy). I did find I needed to set the video settings to 1280 x 960 and turn up the lighting a tad in order to get the best graphic quality which with all settings on max is quite superb.

Second, my initial impression is that it is a beautiful looking game with strong content, the combat is a heck of a lot easier than in the first game. I disabled the classic combat interface and just point and click to hit, much better. Very impressed thus far but have only spent an hour or so wandering about testing it out a bit. I can sense the "I'll just dash home for lunch and have 10 minutes on the computer" feeling on this one, which is rare these days.

Installation was also fine on my just-squeezed-through-the-minimum-requirements-system. However the game looks crap on my comp- loads of fog and the sound stutters more than a Gareth Gates album, going to wait and upgrade my comp- I want to enjoy this i.e.- be able to see 10 feet in front of me. Wrong thread I know but i'm in a bitchy mood because of it and its info nonetheless.

ps I bought it in Northern Ireland, near the border, so you can say its avalible in Ireland if you want

Nice keyboard . You're not missing much, I was going to mail the registration card to Gorath as well as all of the other stuff, but I had used it as a coaster and there is a big ring on it now .
