Lighthouse and Fishmonger

So far I've found my sympathies to be with the thieve's I met. Since I intend to be a fire mage I guess there's no harm in this. I let Rengaru go. Now I have the fishmonger's note. He seems nice enough and his loot is good. I think I've asked this before, I just hope I don't get locked out of more gameplay by going this route.

I tried to get to the lighthouse because the keeper told me about his bandits. I went out the east gate and up the cliff and then tried following the road where the sign points to the lighthouse. What a long roundabout way to the shore! And I'm not to good with those worgs. Is it possible to make it down that road at level 5, 25 dex and 20 bow, but no sword skills?

Or can I find another way to the lighthouse? Can I swim there?

There's no way to swim... I think there's a BIG roundabout if you take the way from the Black Troll... But you'll also meet Wargs.
I don't think there is a way to swim.. Sorry

What? You met wargs when you wen't up the hill right outside the east gate?
When you come out the east gate, take the first road to the left, follow the road and go up the hill. On the top there it should be first 1 Scavenger then 2 after that. When you now are at the top you can just keep folowing the path to the left ad the lighthouse will be right in front of you in some sec.

But the bandits use crossobows (or bow, don't rembmer) and they are pretty good with them so they do a lot of damage, so I doubt you can kill all of them in lvl 5

Thanks. I was starting out from the wrong place - back by the steps that lead up to the road to the farm and the lighthouse. That brings you past an army of tough creatures. I went your way and got there ok, but the bandits are too much for me at this point. I fought a few other bands of bandits using fireball spells and running. But these guys kill me with one shot of an arrow. I'll wait until later for them.

If you're a mage... try going for an army of goblin skellies. They are annoying little pests and can give those bandits a run for their money, while you eliminate them from afar with your spells.

Thanks. I'm not a mage yet. But I'll do that when I am.
