Weird Installation Message--The wrong volume is in the drive |
|
When I got to Disk 3, a window popped up and read "<Gothic II - Installation: Gothic 2 - Setup.exe - Wrong Volume> The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume GOTHIC2_CD1 into drive D:."
Well, I did and it copied one file, Logo.bik, I believe.. lasted all but one second, at most. Then it repeated the same but had "CD3" instead of "CD1"..
This is the second time I've installed the game and I don't recall this happening the first time. Maybe I was just excited to play and didn't pay any attention.
Well anyway, the game seems to be playing fine, so far. But has anyone else had this happen? I have Windows XP Home Edition, by the way. _________________ ---------------------------

These things starting happening to me as soon as I got Windows XP. But, I'm not saying they are related... Aw, it's really a minor thing, and it does usually happen when you are on last cd. The installer just happens to ask for the first cd. The installation goes on normally, though, and finishes successfully each time... |
