| Which is better, Fallout 1 or 2? |

I'm not sure if they play on XP. I imagine that NoMutantsAllowed would have a patch to run them on XP.
As to which is better... well, personally I liked the first a bit more, it had the best ending I've seen in a video game, but the second had much better character advancement options. My suggestion: Play them both.

I think you can get both games in a dual-jewel case now, so you might as well get both, since after playing one, you will want to play the other.
Fallout 1 had a better overall story, but Fallout 2 had more options. It's hard to choose.

Good! I'm currently enjoying Fallout 1 (again, heh), and planning to give it another try with a different character, then on to Fallout 2!
And I'm a big graphics whore!  FAllout is more than graphics. And even the graphics that Fallout has, they're very unique, stylish, and help to create a distinct Falloutish sense of immersion. Enjoy em! |
