A good protection spell
   

I want a real good protection spell against blade or knife. What will it be?

Good protection spell
   

hmm, protection spells depend I guess on what you are fighting, and your level. Shield protections level 1-6(?) are good against melee, your level depends on your magica and casting level, ability. otherwise, things like
blocking are pretty key in melee defense. Also, enchantments like disintegrate weapon are pretty effective...about all I can think of.

Sanctuary can be a very useful spell in melee combat. It helps you avoid getting hit. Of course, the only problem is that you won't raise armor skills as quickly.
