The Three Guardians

In Undermountain level 1, south, (HoU) there is a room and pinpoint that says: The Three Guardians. I know you must move the guardians to face the door, flip the switch and kill those 'Sploding skeletons before they move the statues back.

Now, the problem we are having is that the statue in the center will not budge. The other two are locked but the one in the center says: "Something mechanical stops this from working." Or something like that. The switch will not be budged nor the statue. The other statues won't budge back either.

Bug or am I stupid?

Either way is ok as long as I know! LOL!

If anyone has any clues please let me know. We have started the section over and over again to no avail. We have also completed all of Undermountain level 1, North and South but this. (Unless you tell me I haven't and that's why it doesn't work.)

Please, please, help.

Oh, I ahve also checked on all walkthroughs available and they all say what we have attempted already.

Thank you in advance for any guidance given.

Loves ~T

I've had those statues 'break' on me, too, and be unable to be moved. It may easily be a bug. Try leaving Undermountain and coming back down... that sometimes resets puzzles.

Thanks, I will try that at some point. We did already but maybe with some time in between it will work.

Thanks, ~T

If it makes you feel better there's nothing really spectacular behind that door.

Well, there's that +27 Sword of Really Bloody Death With No Saving Throw, and the trigger for that easter egg that shows a video of a Chippendales dancer.

Nothing that would interest you, right?

Hmmm, I must've missed that one ... just as well, the first is unbalancing, the second has no interest for me *grin*
