help with rebel camp

ok I got the shield of ancients for Alia, but how do i return to the rebel camp? I cant seem to get there from anywhere, the cave, underground lake, the entrances are all blocked, am i doing something wrong?

you have received a 'key' to the rebel camp by Alia upon your first arrival in tha camp. It is not lookng like a regular key, but like a 'cross' and it labelled rebel camp pass. Use it to open the entrances to the camp

at the locks leading to the rebel camp...one is for example leading of the large sea in lvl 4
