| Apples!!!!! Who sells a ton of them? |

I'm looking for about 250 apples, anyone know where to get them? I heard a rumor about the guy in town that sells food but he won't sell to me unitl I get him some ham, sooo anyone know where to get ham if he really does sell unlimited apples? Thanx |

Elena the landowner's daughter sells ham, that's the only one I can think of offhand. Why the heck do you need 250 apples? |

Im' just a greedy bastard and I don't want to wait until chapter 6 to get 100 str. I don't know if you know, but for every 25 apples you get 1str so 250 apples = 10str and I have 90 now. Sooo, Soon I will have one hell of a critial hit! WOO HOO, here I come orcs of chapter 2! |

The first market stand you come across when entering the city for the first time has unlimited apples.
I had the same plan as you had and bougth a lot of them only to find out it only works once. You can get the strength 1+ bonus from apples just one time, so there's no need to buy that many of them

I guess you'd have to, I don't think anyone will teach 90 str in chapter 1.

Actually I just learned the 1st step of Alchemy so to answer your question I have not yet made any strengh potions, I have 6 king sorrals and 6 dragon roots though so I could once I learn the required health potions. I think for now though I'm going to up my 2h because it is only at 40%. BTW in chapter one I killed everything and got up to level 18, then I pumped most of my points into str, prayed for 11str, ate stew for 3str and ate apples for 1str so that is 15str from other stuff and 75 from training. |

my first time through. I'm trying to do all the quests and stuff but what Im really doing is going through this whole game so I know where to tweak the many of the replays.
Dude you're on the right track, since you are still in chap 1...go broke praying at shrines (seriously) and while you;re at it, save all the dragonroots, potions, apples, etc until you can pay for your 90 str (dont know who would train past that) then at 90, start eating all your saved goodies. Im about 1/2 done with chap 4 with 109 str...my next replay will *easily* be 120+.
Can someone tell me whats the deal with the other foods>
I knew about the apples and str, whats this about mushrooms for mana?
And what raises dex (foodwise) |

Torlof teaches up to 90 in chapter 1. Before choosing guild everyone but then only mercs. |
