Yeah, Hagen is right. But if you own a copy of NWN you will be able to play Neversummer for free when it is released. There will also be no monthly fee. I am really looking foward to it. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

Searching "Free MMORPG's" yields 229 pages of useless stuff. So it's not a particularly good way of answering the guys question. |

Well, I know at least one mmorpg, thats free
http://www.planeshift.it
It's still in development, but you can download and try it. Last time I checked the game (some 6 month ago), the main quest was hunting crystals.
PlaneShift has the potential to become the first free mmorpg, that has some decent graphics. That's what the developers say. |

The main "quest" in PlaneShift is the Crystal Hunt, but there are also 2 dialogue-driven quests as well. The team's next release has been delayed until after the new year. It should include their first test of the combat system and magic system, new areas to explore and more quests, as well as items, armor, and currency, I think. The models and textures are being redone also, with new races available to players and several monsters to kill and loot. Current accounts will suffer a database wipe when the new client is released.
Recently, an article was posted at Warcry and Stratics (same text on both) concerning the amount of accounts created. This number does not reflect the amount of actual players who log in and gather crystals regularly. Still, it's something to appreciate for a free project. |

Another month and another "free mmorpg" question...
How about reading the sticky post above, aptly labeled Free MMORPG's ? _________________ "There is no way around it. Correct is correct. I am correct, therefore I win."

I strongly recommend Saga of Ryzom. Generally it is not free, but it is in open beta right now. http://ryzom.com. You may not be able to download the client from Ryzom's proposed webpage, because the public servers are overloaded. So I would recommend using eMule for this. Note: this is not illegal, because CDs containing this game are being distributed via game magazines also. _________________ In this modern world of nightmares

Lol if you havent noiticed, Runescape was upgraded. If you dont like it its because youre a noob that dosent know his place. They specifically say on there that the more you play, the better you get. That means better stuff and more enjoyment. Im tired of people saying that the best FREE NON-DOWNLOAD internet game is dumb. But i laugh at your ignorange. |
