I feel like I'm quite a ways into the game and I have found one piece of one armor set. Am I just missing them or are they really this rare? _________________ --------

i never even found a set item, so i'm guessing they're just rare. |

They are really that rare. In fact, almost as much as Sacred gold. But you didn't miss them, you just need to keep on killing until you find the rest. |

I've found a few pieces, but they almost all belong to a different set. They are ofcourse rare as they should be, but if you look at their powers to become when you find them all, they are almost all not worth it, Each set item on it's own are far below the standard I already wear, and even with it's full set combined advantages, it will not be worth the while as I see it.
Besides I have 4 items of the same set, but they are all the same item in that set, considered how rare/powerfull these items should be, this shouldn't could happen, I hope they fix it with patch 1.7. _________________ Moderator on RPGdot.com Forum.

Well it doesn't seem to change in 1.7. I've got the latest beta and still found 3 exactly the same gladiator set items (of course I was playing a battlemage ). _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

Okay, haven't played 1.7 that much, but so far I've noticed that the items I find and the items in the shops have a lot more relation to my specific character. It's actually more fun to go through a shop owners items, as he/she has a lot more interesting stuff. _________________ Moderator on RPGdot.com Forum.

I haven't played Sacred for a while now ..... waiting for the official 1.7 patch to get rid of the annoying bugs.
Like Michael C, I have found numerous set pieces, but find that I'm either the wrong "class" to use them or they are underpowered compared to what the merchants are offering me at my level.
Diablo 2 suffered the same problem when it was released. Set items didn't hold up well for higher lvl characters. |

The most I have ever found is 3 pieces of the same set, and this was long into Gold.
Chech out this site http://www.sacredins.com for information about the sets. You will see that most sets aren't even complete here, so there are sets in this game noone, even in the official forums, has ever managed to complete. They are VERY rare.. |
