Beginning game what apprenticship is best?

I've just reached the point in Chapter 1 where I quallify to be an apprentice. What are the advantages to either being a hunter or a smith?

As a smith you get 100 gold coins for every sword that you make, as a hunter you get the full price for every sheep, wolf, warg, shadowbeast, troll, blacktroll skins that you bring him.

You can join the mitlia and still sell skins for full price well into the game.

Depends on what you want to become later in the game. If your a fighter you should beome a smith. If you want to be magician it is better to join Constantino (or whatever that dude is), you can sell him mushroms and he can teach you alot.

Probaly best to sign up with Constantino whatever, with him you can brew permanent streangth boosting potions as well as mana ones..but thats only if u wanna become an uberpowerful killing machine by the end of the game

Your apprenticeship doesn't really have any bearing on your guild. Just depends on what you want to learn for free. You can always learn forging (small price) and alchemy (finishing a quest or 2) elsewhere. The most profitable is the Bowyer. The fact that animals respawn and mushrooms don't is a plus.

Don't be the smith's apprentice, cause you can always learn to forge in the later stages.... if you are a paladin or magician pick Constantino and if you choose to be a mercenary then be a hunter.

hmm imo the Smiths apprentice is the best cos u can sell him the swords for 100 coins so u can actually buy whole Gothic 2 world if u know how. Here Comes a little spoiler how u can be the richest Smith of all world!

Spoiler:
Just buy the steel wherever you can and after that go make the usual swords after you dont have any more steel go to Onars place and from Bennet u can actually buy unlimited ammount of steel and now you allready probably know you wont never ever have money problems cos u will get it so much as u want

I chose to be apprenticed to Bosper even though I'm a novice (almost a mage, just gotta conquer the "living rock").
