| Resurection cheat for NPCs? |
|
I don't need it, but I killed a bunch of people in the upper quarter and now their are dead bodies all over the place. Guards, citizens, some guy with a name that starts with 'G' all dead, it is kinda annoying. |

Resurrection cheat? Sure.
type smarvins or bmarvinb to enter cheat mode
look at a killed person so you focus him/her
press o to possess the dead body
press F8
face your own (Me's) body and press o to repossess it
repeat for everybody you killed
type 42 to exit cheat mode

Thanks I'll have to try that. And as for the reaons I did it, it was during the blood chalice quest and I didn't have pickpocketing yet or sneak so I would keep getting caught and to shut them up and make it so that I didn't have to pay a penalty I had to kill everyone. If the bodies didn't lie around forever then it would be fine but they litter the entire city! And what is worse...they move! That move from the position to position depending on time of day...funny scripted events bug  |

bah, is *THAT* how you got to lev 18 in chap 1? Killing townspeople?
And how did you get to 18 with leather armor only? |

I did not cheat!!!! I had the light Merc Armor. Using the Orc Slayer Sword you can really kick the crap out of people. Also I used a ton of save - load - save stuff. Using the info from these boards I found the hit, jump back, strafe, hit technique to kill the Black Troll (I was level 16 by then). If you kill every monster in the chapter and use the LPs for STR and Swordplay I guarantee you will kick ass also. |

Must agree with hereticv. Killed everything in chapter 1 even black troll - how I wrote somewhere here - may say it wasn`t 100% open face-to-face fight. The biggest problems had with two MF defending DragonsBane (ShadowWarrior?) and Tomb. To be honest before attempting this forum never knew about cheat mode - never used that - what for? For me it kills all the fun. If I can outsmart the game - fine. But if I`m for example godmoded - what is the point of playing? |

Thats just sad to be honest, defeats the whole point of the game, killing all the townspeople,and just exploiting bugs...
btw how could you get merc armor in chapter 1

All you have to do is join up and you get light armor. Just like when you join the militia. It is the light stuff 30/30 protection, nothing big. And it is not really exploiting a bug it is just playing as a different character. Thieves steal in the shadows and mercs slaughter as they steal

There is no way you could kill all them paladins without either exploiting the combat bug or by cheating. With such weak armor u would get owned.
I was thinking it went to chapter 2 when u joined, but it's after u talk to hagen, oops 
I would think it would ruin the game though, when you have nothing left to test your strength before the end of chapter 1 !!
I can tell you for a fact that the black troll hits harder and can take more damage then any of the dragons, and they have the same slow turning factor. The rest of the enemies are easy in comparison, and the story isn't as good as gothic 1's so whats left to experience?

i got the medium merc armor (i think it was 45/45/5/5 defense bought it from Lee) in chapter 1 did all the merc quests i was lvl 18 too didnt kill townspeople it was too easy to kill orcs in chapter 2
edit: u cant kill all paladins some named paladins are immortal
