If any of you would like maps of the 3 retro dungeons in Wiz 8 you can find them here.
These dungeons are incredibly difficult to navigate - even with the automapper so I mapped them out manually for your enjoyment.

Yes a map is a nice thing for these hidden areas, but I don't find the areas worth the while! |

I think they are very worthwhile. Get lots of extra encounters - more xp - more levels!
Plus in the second one if you kill the Nebdar you get a very nice amulet that is definitely worth it.

Well, the ekstra XP can I get everywhere easier. You may like a item or two you find there, but nothing neccesary or revolutionary.
I admit for my unending curiosity, I have also explored these retro dungeons, and if only for the same reasons then go ahead explore, but expect only annoying teleporters and twisted corridors (unmapped).
Leaving these dungeons just felt disappointing somehow, so much work for almost nothing IMHO. |
