I found a difference in the English Demo:
The Girls wearing string Bikinis in the bath tube.
Do u think it is a must for a game realised in the USA to have no nude girls in it?

Yes I do think so. As you can read in other discussions about Gothic (or other topics), nudity (in games and on tv) seems to be a problem to many US-people.
Strange to me that you can buy guns in stores and see detailed gruelty in movies but you cannot drink beer in public or see naked bodies on tv. |

I thought I've done all quests I could do in the demo but I might have missed one that gives this....generous reward *coughs*
Those Germans really know how to make good games: drugs/woman in bathtubs/beer and wine/kill monsters and improve your skill, etc.

Thats not realy a quest.
U only have to look for the girl that u saw in the intro movie.
And unlike all the dirty mens in Gothic she is cleaning her body often.

I don't know the english demo but in the german version you have to go in the house of Gomez by night. There are some rooms and in one of them is a girl and a bathtub. Try to see here at 01:00 or later.
For nudism - try if this bug exists in your version:
The girl (Velaya) is sitting in front of the tub in the late evening (just in the hour before she starts her bath). If you stand on her left hand side and look at her, try to press the F-key. If you stand in the right position in the german version, she loses her clothes ... it's definitely a bug and perhaps it will work in your demo too. |

Damn o damn these Americans. If they see a naked nipple they scream heresy, but unless a movie has got a decapitation and approximately 4 galleons of blood, they don't consider it worth watching? Can any American on the board tell me the reasons for this nipple-fright? To my knowledge, every member of the human race is endowed with an average of two nipples, so seeing a couple of bare ones shouldn't be such a big deal? |

So, is it possible to enter the castle in the English demo? I thought I had tried everything. I tried bribing with the 1000 ore (had to pick the locks on almost every chest in the camp to get it) but just got "Not in the Demo". And you can't do the final test since you can't get to the mine. So if it's possible PLEASE tell.

Yes it's possible. I got in after chasing Mordrag (sp). I just ran in and took him out in the castle. Maybe you can just run in anyway, never tried it. |

Take a weapon (spacebar) run into the castle just around the corner and put your weapon away. You do the same to enter Gomez place!

See them, heck I don't even want to read the word n*, or b*, or t* or v*. But I love my blood, guts and gore. Must be all those John Wayne movies I grew up watching.
Of course its just a stereotype. I'm sure there are stereotypes relating to Iceland, I just can't think of any. |

but the nude texture thing doesnt work..i go to that velaya woman by night at 1:00 but then she goes sleeping..and she still wears the same clothing.. |
