Ok... what are needed qualifications to be able to buy Heavy Guard Armor from Stone in the Old Camp?
He says that I need to be "upper clas od the guards", so how do I reach the "upper class".
Is there any kind of xp level requirement or something?

You´ll never get it. It´s just a temptation.

What do you mean you'll NEVER get it!?!?

You get heavy armor from the other two camps. Why shouldn't you get it from the Old Camp?

I haven't joined the Old Camp, yet. But I'm positive that you get it somewhere in the storyline. Just do enough quests, then Thorus will recognize you.

You get Heavy Templar's armor, and Heavy Mercenarie's Armor before the Old Mine collapses. So there shouldn't be a reason why the Old Camp should hold back.

I´m not sure we´re talking about the same thing (German names, blabla...), so I´ll be more precise. You will NEVER EVER get the best regular armour of the OC without cheating.
It´s a twist in the plot, and I´m not gonna spoil the surprize.

I've done evertyhing possible for the Old Camp... plus I'm level 17 I think

I was ranked high enough to buy regular guards armor... but if it's true that heavy guard armor can't be bought I'm totalny dissapointed, I mean why is Stone then listing as avaliable anyway??????

Well yes I know about the twist in the plot and the shit happening to the OC, but still isn't it a bit idiotic to allow members of other camps to have a LOT better armor than the poor OC player souls...

baaah... disapointed

Don´t be disappointed. With level 17 you are close to the point where you get the really good equipment.

I finished Gothic in 20 hours.
And I was at level 43 and 45.

Level 43 when I joined the Sect Camp.
And 45 when I joined the New Camp.

If you don't get Heavy Guard's armor, then do you at least get Crawler armor faster? Or Ore Armor faster?

I don´t think you get the better armour earlier.

You want to tell me you finished Gothic in 20 hours with level 43/45 without cheating? Hard to believe. You skipped all the speech or activated Godmode?

Nooo!
20 hours each camp!

I skipped most of the talking, because I read a lot faster than they talk. It's a habit of mine to read ahead.

I used no cheating. I still haven't cheated in the full version... YET.

Gothic is so well balanced that cheating isn't really necessary.

I fight fast, too. I swing my weapon as fast as an NPC, because I use special formations.
eg. Against an opponant's back: UP-LEFT-UP-RIGHT... DEAD
Against an Orc: LEFT-UP-BACK-RIGHT-LEFT-UP... DEAD
Tip: NEVER do UP-UP. It's too slow.

ok, you won't get a guard's heavy armour, but if you're a guard in the old camp and return the 5 focuses to Saturas, he'll allow you to join in the new camp as a Mercenary and allowing you to purchase Mercenary heavy armour from Lee (at a high cost).
