MW too much like Gothic!!!

A friend on my MSN has the MW too, he played it alot..runs SUPER on his amd500 512 ram and geforce3{strange} he likes how big the game is....but things like battle and quests seem to be almost taken from Gothic he said...this true? and that my cents are more worth for a game like gothic than this....maybe i should just wait and not worry too much..after all this guy was completely crazy about Dungeon Siege while i hated the game...

Umm,well, strangely enough the Hex Files of Gothic and Morrowind are Identical in every aspect. First time I've seen 2 separate Companies use the exact same Programming code. Coincidence? Who knows?

The characters in Morrowind doesnt have much personality in comparision to Gothic, and the storyline is a bit less obvious. Otherwise Morrowind is a great game... If you can call it a game... Its almost like I am prepared to call it "Virtual reality".

Gothic and Morrowind

I enjoyed Gothic, but I see it as a tiny preview of what Morrowind gives you. Gothic had very little choices in character developement. Even choosing a different camp really didn't change the gameplay much at all. Way to linear from the get go. Small number of quests. Great graphics though, but still falls short compared to Morrowind in that area too. Way to easy to make money in Gothic so no challenge there at all. I haven't really gotten into Morrowind's economy yet, as I am still busy exploring:) Gothic was a good start for a 3rd person rpg, but Morrowind is simply epic in my opinion.

I still miss the personality of people I encounter. Most people have the personality of a post-sign...

So what we have is a fully realistic but LONELY world...
