Anyone else dislike the armor recognition? [NotR]

At least the way it is implemented currently.
Even if you have the Crawler armor several NPC's wont speak to you.
Btw could someone whom understands German please tell us what tese NPCs are saying as they refuse to speak to us?
The only neutral armor I can find is the Leather armor, yet you are forced to talk to NPCs whom are going to attack you while you are forced to wear weaker armor just to start the conversatiion, Bah!

Mostly they are saying things like:

"What kind of armor are you wearing?!"
"You belong to our order, so dress accordingly!
etc.

In all cases just change armor and everything is fine (except when you show up as a bandit, then you're screwed).

Pirates' Armor is also neutral and in most cases Ring of Water Armor too. I thinks it's pretty realistic to be attack when walking around like a bandit etc.

Ok, that makes sence thanks.

"when you show up as a bandit, then you're screwed"

Hey no kidding, along the lines of if you dont have saves you would have to, Start Over Game Breaking Screwed.
Which is another reason I dislike this systems as implemented, if NPCs recognise you as your Traditional Guild enough to force you to use weaker armor before fights why dont they know its you in Bandit Armor.
Or even if you except that Bandit armor is some how cursed and causes frantic/violent behavior why dont the NPCs calm down if you run away put on non Bandit armor and return?
The curse seems to be permanent

You can use the quote button on the right to repeat thing previous posters said. For example:

code:
[quote]The curse seems to be permanent[/quote]

will show something like this:
quote:
The curse seems to be permanent

And if you want the username displayed you can use this command:

code:
[quote="Acleacius"]The curse seems to be permanent[/quote]

will show something like this:
