I had no problems loading BG 1, but now Im loading BGII Shadows of Amn and it is asking for a Disc 5. There is no disc 5 for BGII right? Here are my specs:

Antholon 1.2
512 Megs PC133 SDRAM
Windows ME
Geforce 4 Ti 4400 Video Card with latest drives for the video card, motherboard, chipset and Direct X 8.1.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. You may also email me at Tampa_Tip@msn.com.

Thanks again for the timely support.

I've heard of this happening... did you try putting disk one in again? I've heard of that working... bizzare as it is. Hmm... trying to remember the authentic fix to it (it's a known issue)...

Contacting BG technical support will get you a fix for it. They might want you to send in your CDs to replace them (I think the disc 5 error had something to do with a bad batch or copy protection or something... but it's been more than a year since I haunted the official BG2 forums...).

OK, I poked around a bit...

Has a bunch of suggestions on fixing this problem. They also note that, like I said, it may be a damaged or dirty CD if none of that works...
