That's pretty normal for newer games. As I said elsewhere, you'll need to get an upgrade sooner or later. |

@Jaz- Yes I know, but no game yet that I know of requires or will require a 1.4 ghz CPU! Even Doom 3 will only require a 1 ghz CPU. The highest other than Soldner's is Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles, which requires a 1.3 ghz CPU. Alas for gaming on a low-end system! We'll probably upgrade sooner or later. Anyway, I am looking foward to games that I will be able to run. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

Well, 1,4 ghz CPUs aren't even produced anymore. So they are, in fact, low end. |

This is the longest I've ever gone without upgrading... I've had my 1G Athlon and Radeon 8500 for ages now, and to my amazement most new games still run smooth with high details. The DX2 demo taxed it a bit, I guess my machine is reaching the end of its lifespan as a "current" games machine.
What's the topic again? I'll add The Fall to my list, after seeing it mentioned here I checked it out and it looks cool. Hope they make a good job of it. From the look of the skills available, I reckon it might be a bit combat-heavy... anyone know if that's true? |

Thief 3, The Fall, The Night of the Raven (Gothic 2 expansion), and a few others. As long as there are three or four good games next year, I'll be happy. _________________ Give me the shadows, shield me from the light, and I shall let nothing pass in the darkness of the night. |
