The fact that you couldn't change you character's look and the fact that the game is quite easy are really my only gripes about Gothic ... otherwise it's one of my favs (if not my fav game) ...

there's a way to talk to people and do missions while being a different NPC. u have to change something in the character's abilities list though and i don't know how to do it. i only know a friend was a snapper while talking to someone. atleast u know there's a possibility.

Well, just remember all the values, so you can transfer them to your new "character"..

As for the ponytail (it is about that, Elf, isn't it ), I remember playing one mod, in which you had a different model for your character.. Try searching for it; it's less than 1Mb, and then, when you find the right one, contact it's developer.
Easy as that...

If you truely despise your character, go into Marvin-Mode walk up to an NPC u like and press the 'o' key.

Yeah, that mod has a different character as well, but I wasn't talking about it.
If only I could remember...

The creator of Visigothic is Alistair who's also a forum member. His new mod is The Trial.
