Equilibrium - Great Sci Fi/Cyberpunk movie!!!

If you like SCI-FI/Cyberpunk stuff...then you should rent Equilibrium.
This movie is like a cross of Matrix1/Logan's Run/Blade Runner. I love the "gun katas" as I am a martial-artist and never thought of training with guns being as an extension of your body like you do when studying the samurai-sword. The main character is like a cross of Logan5&JC Denton(Deus Ex)Very trippy movie! Check it out and post your praise/criticism for this flick!!!

Generally cool fighting scenes, although sometimes a bit tacky (too much of the let's-throw-this-in-because-it-looks-cool theme, like some of the sword-fighting). Good concept, but kind of flat storyline and an annoying hero. It's okay, I guess.

kengo: Never thought of training with guns as an extension of your body.

Well, you should read the Dark Tower series of Stephen King. But be adviced the first book seems really badly organized. The main character however also has the ability to use the gun as a part of his own.

On Topic: Saw the movie. Wasn't bad, not at all, but sth was missing. Can't explain what.
