Ive got Beyond Divinity. DK voice overs? Just read |
|
Well ive got BD and let me tell you, it is a reasonable good game. I say reasonable because i was expecting more. Not that ive played Divine Divnity, but because IT is a new game and, well, just expecting more.
You only have 2 characters, that are linked - if one dies the other one too and Game over pal. You can choose 3 or 4 classes at the start, and like a character being slim, normal, muscular or heavy, but hell, its so limited when compared to Morrowind, where you can choose tons of things.
By the way im new to Morrowind, i have the Italian version but im seeking something or some file that can give me an english version. Im portuguese and although i can understand some italian, i would way better understand the english version
Anyway...
Beyond Divinity has lots of items and lots of stuffs. I particulary do not like the "Emcumbered" thing. When we get too heavy the characters wont run i can only walk. Even when i sell lots of item in the merchants in the battlefield, it seems that the characters get easily encumbered with a bit of venturing and slashing monsters out there. You will get used being like in the 2nd level of a dungeon and have to come back all the way to the camp to sell your items so you can turn back to the same spot and pick up stuff you couldnt pick up becuz you were already encumbered and you character couldnt take any more stuff.
Dont like the mini-map either. When we scroll the mouse over the scenario the minimap should follow up and center where we are. But it doesnt it always stays with the characters.
Nevertheless Beyond Divinity its still a good game (read reasonable) and you can have about 60 hours of game play if you do all the quest and sidequest all over the game.
Oh and dont worry about the Death Knight voice overs. It happens to me too, sometimes the text appears and he doesnt talk. It happens to other characters too, but its kinda rare to happen.
hope ive helped in some way |

To avoid problems with encumbrance, you need to increase your strength. Also, I like finding a little barrell or chest near merchants where I can dump off extra stuff that I don't want to sell, but don't need to haul around everywhere. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Val is quite correct about strength and dumping goods. Just be careful of ONE thing. When you move to a new act, everything you're not carrying from the previous act, is gone!! Keep a separate save for the Battlefields. I've never had any problem with the voiceovers!! _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!
