| Ork Temple, Spiked Gates Trap - Ruuushk |
|
I'm at the beginning of the hall leading to Varrag Ruuushk. This is where the spiked gate kills you if you try to go past it. I finally got Ruuushk to charge me and was able to fight him from the door. I could even loot his body from there. But I still can't go forward. Every time i try I get caught in the gate. Sometimes I can step back quickly, other times I'm dead.
How do I get past this gate without Marvin's help? Bloodflies are not immune to the gate.

Is he the shaman in the room surrounded by lava?
If so, go in trough the 'window', i.e. crack in the wall on the right side of the room.

I forget now if he was surrounded by lava. I just kept trying to walk in quickly and one time it worked. I forget what sword I got from him. Dashing out wasn't so bad as getting in.
Thanks. I'll go back and see if I can find the window. But there was none beside that clanking gate trap, that I remember.

the room he is in is surrounded by lava, but u have to fall to get in it, there's a bridge,

When I went back in to finish the game I found the way to jump into the room. That was a good puzzle. I'm mad at myself for not going looking for another way in instead of trying to race the silly gate.

Walk around the temple. You'll find a place where you can crawl up some blocks and then drop into the chamber where he started at.
You do need that sword..... |

ja, you can enter through that spiked door, you have to wield your sword, and make the combo, facing the shaman, you do it twice and you are in... that was the way i finished it the first time, i did not jnow of that window either, the first time... Im on my Fourth

If I'm correct you can also jump over the trap. I think I did it once.

Well like I said I think I did it once. I didn't have Acrobatics. Have never ever gotten it in all the time i've played the game. you think I would just top ccheck it out but no. If I remember rigth I just ran and jumped. It was awhiel ago so I don't remeber if I got through or if I got killed.

no you can't get there by acrobatics i'm not very much farther in the story and i tried with acrobatics .guess what: i died over and over and went looking for an other way in and found the window
