That's why I asked about assigning music to specific events.
I placed "Starry, Starry Night in as one of my exploring pieces, it would work great at night with the great sky graphics but it always plays during the day time.
The biggest advantage to putting your own music in though is boredom, no matter how good the music is hearing the same seven songs hour after Hour, day after day, week after week gets to you after a while..

Hell yea, Squaresoft makes very good music for their RPGs. Is it just me or do PC RPGs rarely have specific area, full-time background music? I play mainly mmorpgs though, and man they would be so much better if they had very high quality music playing in background, not just little 'entrance themes'. thats what I think anyway |

Baldur's Gate had a bit... or rather alot. Seperate Themes for Irenicus Dungeon, Planar Sphere Nether World, Amn, Umar Hills and the Brawnhaven or something (pirate island). Tons more. Good stuff too.
Something like 32 tracks on the SoA collectors CD. _________________ -Denethorn |
