The manual wasn't to descriptive. How do you select items in the inventory like equipping a sword. When its highlighted the action button ctrl-up arrow or anything else dosen't seem to work.

You use the left and right arrows to change inventory categories. When you get to weapons you can use the up and down arrows to highlight individual choices. Use CTRL+(UP KEY) to select a weapon. For a melee weapon you should see a '1' and for a ranged weapon you should see a '2' appear. You can have one of each ready.

On my system I am using the "alternative" keyboard config so I use the LEFT CONTROL button plus the 'W' key for up, 'Q' for left, 'E' for right, 'S' for back, etc. You can check your keyboard setup in the settings menu. I prefer to use the QWES keys rather than the arrow keys with my left hand and the mouse with the right hand that the alternative config sets up.

It should answer all questions about controls.

ctrl + up was correct. Does virtually everything including equip/unequip.

There is a (reportedly) better manual on Xicat´s site.
