Well here you can read about someone that have gotten a "diablo syndrome" (hack hack hack, slash slash slash!!!) playing that game, but basically it's more a Baldur's Gate game, with a LOT of quests and ppl to talk with! and this is just the "single player game"! yes because you have to know that NeverWinter Nights was created with the principal purpose of make it a colossal multiplayer game, with a very good tool for creating your oun adventure and let the others play it simgle-played or multi-played with a person that makes the DM _________________ =Member of the NonFlamers' Guild=

Just to note: After thinking a bit, I've managed to slow myself down a bit. My character's gotten to a point where a single level doesn't matter that much and I've got plenty of money, so I'm focusing on the plot again NWN is good, the story is nice and NPC interaction works. I think NWN can appeal both to a Diablo Syndrome-guy and a serious roleplayer. Don't know which of those I am. I used to know. After you fork over the more-than-normal one time fee for the game, it is free. But bug free... no. _________________ Make good choices. |

In short:
The single player game is good, but don't expect BG2. Player alignment does have an effect on gameplay, but not extensively. NWN's main attraction is its mult-player modes and especially the DM tools. And they work, aside from some early bugs that are sure to be resolved eventually.
And no, playing online doesn't cost anything _________________ =Proud Father of a new gamer GIRL!=
