this is a great game...but the chars run funny. the only word to properly describe it is: sissy-man!

no worries tho, i purposely encumbered him

but out of curiosity, did anyone else notice this?

Well, I was possessed by the devil to choose the voice of "High-Strung Evangelist" I'm paying for it dearly every time I tell the group that I’m going to take a rest-break.

Sissy-man?

Actually, I was thinking what a great job they did in making my female character move like a woman.

I wasn't aware that they ALL did that.

indeed they do. it's kinda hard to maintain that idea of "yeah, i'm the tuffest thing in Neverwinter!" when this big beefy dude runs like a woman.

To quote John Shaft (Mace Windu; maybe Samuel L. Jackson), "Damn Straight!"

Really, I had not noticed the walking problems before, I was more annoyed with the harsh text that cannot be read after an hour of game play.

That's funny, when i play first character as male fighter i didn't notice that. Probably i use chase cam or top down mode more often. Recently i start second character as female and found myself prefer drive camera mode (always view her from behind when she's walking ....)

Especially if she's a rogue with one of those tight spandex rogue outfits on her, eh?

I did notice the female chars strutting their stuff just a bit too much. From time to time I'm tempted to cry out "would you like some fries with that shake?"

Yeah, I haven't seen a swing like that since I was on the playground in kindergarten.

i feel sorry for the female clerics...if they're trying to play the role of a priest, and then she starts all wlaking like a floozy...it just ruins the effect.

Priests and priestesses in the Realms are seldom abstinent and don't even need to be chaste.

Oops, meant to say monk, not rogue. Light armors look weird and funny and not very flattering. Monk robes on the other hand.... mmmmm...

It happens in a fantasy world where the very good real world reasons the Catholic church implemented the doctrine don't exist.

It's based on deity. A priest of Tyr, god of justice, might definately feel a responsibility towards those they choose to 'spend time' with, especially in the event of children. A priest of Sune, goddess of beauty and passion... would not, as they are ridiculously hedonistic.
