|
Over the course of my travels in Gothic 2, I've found three Shadow Knights (skeletons with armor). I know where the two knights are that guard the DragonSlicer 2H Sword but can't remember where the other one was.
Does anyone know where I can find the other Shadow Knight? I'm pretty sure the cave is in Khorinis but I've checked everywhere and can't find it again. |

I think there is one in the crypt near the mercenary camp, and another on the island you find the undead dragon on. I could be wrong though... The one in the crypt is probably tied to some sort of quest, since you'll find a letter near a corpse telling about a warlord or someone that's come back to life. _________________ I am the founder and former leader of a guild in EQ, retired member of The Code in EQ, original member of KOE in AOE2, past Corporal of EVO in MOHAA, respected veteran of UT 2003, a conquerer of all decent games, and an aspiring game developer.

Thanks for your responses.
By the Inubis Tomb, I'm assuming you mean the crypt North of the Mercenary Camp that contains three rooms, each with a chest and a singular skeleton (champion?) standing next to each chest.
I know about that place, but I'm thinking specifically of another cave or crypt. Maybe I'm going crazy, but I remember walking into a cave where two skeletons stand. After getting by those two, I wandered farther into the cave and around a corner, ran into the Shadow Knight. I also remember some sort of Axe or Battle Axe planted in the ground at the entrance to the cave/tomb.
SirDeity, I haven't been to any island yet, so that's not it...but thank you!
Ah well, hopefully I'll find it again (if it exists ) |

If your heading from the monastery towards the tavern, and take the first left passing by a hunter that is willing to train you in your bow skills, keep following that path until you reach some stairs leading up a mountain, there should be an abandoned mine at one of the corners along the stairs climbing the side of the mountain. It seems like there might be a single shadow knight or champion in one of those caves... It might even be the cave behind Dexter's bandit hideout. Try the caves along those stairs up the mountain, and the cave behind Dexter's bandit camp. _________________ I am the founder and former leader of a guild in EQ, retired member of The Code in EQ, original member of KOE in AOE2, past Corporal of EVO in MOHAA, respected veteran of UT 2003, a conquerer of all decent games, and an aspiring game developer.

Excellent, thanks SirDiety. I'll take a look tonight.
I don't seem to remember that cave (or those stairs). The only cave I remember in that direction is the Shadowbeast cave under the wooden bridge (leading to the Aztec/Inca ruin).
As for the cave behind the bandit camp, I've been through there and though there are a lot of Skeletons, there are no Shadow Warriors.
EDIT: Added Dexter's paragraph |

I vaguely remember another one in the open forest somewhere, along with some regular skeletons, lesser skeletons, and even goblin skeletons. I can't even guess where it was. I just remember a really big rock, and the skeletons are around it in a thick forest area.
There might be one in the cave after the bridge leading from the city of Khorinis to the tavern. It's the bridge with the fire place to the left of it facing the tavern. There is a small graveyard just before you reach the tavern, and some green fog around the area. There are two small caves. One of them should home molerats, and the other should have skeletons. I don't remember what type, there may have been a shadow knight there though... _________________ I am the founder and former leader of a guild in EQ, retired member of The Code in EQ, original member of KOE in AOE2, past Corporal of EVO in MOHAA, respected veteran of UT 2003, a conquerer of all decent games, and an aspiring game developer.

There may be only 3 shadow knights, but I'm sure there are more skeletons wearing armor. I don't remember what they are called though. _________________ I am the founder and former leader of a guild in EQ, retired member of The Code in EQ, original member of KOE in AOE2, past Corporal of EVO in MOHAA, respected veteran of UT 2003, a conquerer of all decent games, and an aspiring game developer.

The two that are guarding the sword are those the ones close to the lair of the black troll and the circle of sun? _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows
