It's a Squaresoft console RPG that is very openended. There are like six or so different endings, I believe. Character design by the Dragonball creator. A great storyline. Continued (kind of) in Crono Cross.

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to SPEED around a city, keeping its SPEED over fifty, and if its SPEED dropped, it would explode. I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."

Is that the one where you have to build your own town and have more caracters then you can take with you in your party?
If so then i have played it, then it is a snes game. Got bored from the turn based fighting.

I played it a bit, never finished it because i got into pc games and it ended up collecting dust too long. Was a cool concept, i liked the chars.

@ButtOfMalmsey Yes, very open ended game especially(spelling) for snes, there are 14 ending but some are very similar,

@Korzen yes that is how it starts

@XeroX You don't build a town in Chrono Trigger but it is turn base.

I prefer wait to active because when you are picking moves for your characters you don't get attacked, making it better

you can heal by: resting in a inn, using items called tonic (there are different levels of tonics) using a tent in a save locatoin or on the world map and by using magic.

good choice on games gothic Chrono trigger is fun, if you have ne more questoins ask.

well in the secound screen in the park (where you meet Marle) there are two guys that won't let you by.... to get in there.

Talk to the people in the first screen of the fair, and if that fails the secound screen. worked for me
