Hey,
Just got the game. I created a Mage just to test things out. How do I regenerate magika? I went to clear out the smugglers cave but ran out of magika on the first encounter. It doesn't regen over time. Any tricks or tips?

What birthsign are you, some you have to absorb magic by having someone cast a spell onto you. |

Best way I found is by Resting, I think theres potions too. (Maybe items with magic regen on it I havent seen em yet) |

That gets pretty brutal if i have to keep leaving the dungeon because I can't rest when there are enemies near. It would be like "kill...walk all the way out...rest...go in...kill...walk all the way out..rest...go in..kill..ect" |

If there's one thing I detest in crpg's it's health and mana not regenerating - the only thing worse is adding that 'You cannot rest here' crap. I seriously hope that there are regen items available *very* early in the game. If not then I'll either not use magic or hack a regen ring. |

Magic pretty much sucks in MW-too cumbersome if you ask me.
Anyway,you can buy scrolls from the traders shop in your starter town-called scroll of Argent Glow. These regenerate your Magika points-they are expensive but so far its the only way I have found to regen magika without resting. I'm ASSUMING there will be regen items,Rings,etc,later on somewhere but havent found any yet. |
