I don't know maybe you should try Hitman, it's a great game probable the best in it's gender. And you get bored of it very hard, it's always interesting to play and kill evryone in different ways. |

i played bouth hitmans 1 and 2 tryed to complete all missions with 100% i fail and i almoust lost my mind my keyboard didnt survive constant attacks 
now i have new keyboard and mouse i pay much for it and i am not going to destroy it again (the previous keyboard was free  so no dammage )
for now i am playing stronghold crusader i never finish it before i only finish first stronghold and when i woke up tomorrow Notr will wait to be instaled hehe
i hope it is worht playing

hm have one question i know it is off topic but i need to know i downloaded that english voice for addon but wat abaut text? is it still in german and if there is mode for it i will find it joust tell me now i am going to bed

Yeah I've got Hitman 1,2, and 3. The 4th one is coming out this fall and I'm sure I'll get that one too. I'm very happy that they've kept the original voice actors and the original composer Jesper Kyd. The first one is still the best though. I've played that a million times. My husband and I have played it together just to give eachother level challenges. Usually that we have to get through a level using only one weapon and we have to deal with the disadvantages of that weapon.
Shotgun (no stealth), deringer (doesn't usually kill), knife (too public), sniper rifle (almost impossible).
You get the idea.
How did you damage your keyboard? Are you an angry gamer? 
Oh and the texts are changed with the mod, even the hidden ones.

yes i am very very angry gamer
if computer freeze or reset and that i didnt save for a long time huhu then
i revenge with my right hand swing i kick the old computer and then all shut down and when i turn it back monitor didnt want to turn on i called my friend wat could be wrong and he just say pray that u didnt broke grafic card
i open it nothing was dammaged and i take out that battery on motherboard and put it back then all work again lol i duno why
i realy gets angry if i played and then i get killed or something like that  in gothic i didnt have such problems it was fun playing over and over and get killed and on other games i dont like this

I realize this thread is 3 months old, but after some searching on the net, I found a game like gothic. Its not better then gothic, but combat is as interesting as gothic:
-Die by the sword, &
-Severance

I'm playing Fable 'THe Lost Chapters' right now and it's pretty good. Similar camera views as Gothic and the combat is very good as well. |

Yes, Fable was alright. Too bad they didn't get to finish making it. 
One that I'm keeping an eye on is stalker. Sci-Fi FPS, I know, but it looks like it might be decent. http://www.stalker-game.com/index_eng.html

Yes Stalker looks good but it's not similar to a Gothic type of game in any way. |

About games that are similar to Gothic, and therefore good enough to play until Gothic 3 is released.

Base building, RTS & Action-RPG, 1/3rd each. The game is hard to describe. Itīs a seamless mix between the 3 styles. I spent more than 100 hours with it. Search the forum for more infos.
