meh ... looks like a diablo click fest clone to me. plus i really enjoy character generation in a game. probably wont even look twice at it. 
ive been spoiled!

And what's wrong with a Diablo click fest, I'd like to know? Personally I LOVE Diablo, it's the very first game I ever bought, and it's what got me hooked on PC games in the first place LOL.
Anyway, yes, I believe that Sacred is going to be very similar to Diablo, and for that reason alone I'll probably buy it.
But I agree with you about character generation though. It really annoys me that I won't be able to play all the characters as my prefered gender (female). I'd really like to be able to play as a female 'Battle mage' as this class appeals to me the most. Ah well!

Sacred is from the same team that brought us Divine Divinity, which I really enjoyed...so I shall be watching out for this one as well.

I hadnt heard anything about sacred being related to divine divinity...
Divine divinity was made by larian studios, which is in belgium. This game is being made in germany. Larian is making a new game but this isnt it....
This game apears to be in 3d. Anyhow if its near reality Id be interested in it. I dug divine divinity. Nothing from the screen shots leads me to believe its a lot like DD, all I see are characters and monsters. Not the thousands of items a DD game had...

sacred is not by Larian as I thought, but by Ascaron.....brain in gear before typing posts etc;

Sorry, but I must correct some things :
Sacred is NOT being made by Larian Studios, but indead by Ascaron.
Sacred was formerly made (in the Beginning) as to become Armalion (RPGDot still should have some Info about it), but the makers, Ikarion, went down and sold everything to Ascaron, who made Sacred out of the remains. |
