| Please Help I have the RING BUG |
|
Hello I'm new to the forums.
Here's my problem I have recently reinstalled Gothic 2 after putting the CD away for a long while.
I have already beaten the game 3 times before and I have always got the ring bug in chapter 2 that is where you can only wear 1 ring or 1 amulet and 1 ring.
The thing is everytime it happened it always just went away in chapter 3 where I could just wear anything normally however this time it did not I entered chapter 3 and I still can only wear 1 ring 
This is greatly diminishing my enjoyment of this game I searched around the forums but found no help on the subject.
Btw I don't know if it's relevant or not but this time I used Marvin mode to enter in some speed potions to make the walk not so long since I already beat the game a number of times.
Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated
(I'm a Mercenary btw this time around)

I also had the same problem  .But I didn't noticed that it was only in chapter2.Anyway I don't care about them.You can try to download some patces from the official website.

Forget to mention that I had this trouble when I was in militia and that the marvin mode don't affect that.

oh ok great I didn't know there was a patch available I thought it never came out I'll definetly give that a shot thnx for the advice.

I just did a search for a Gothic Patch and all I found was forum postings with people saying that there isn't gonna be an English patch?
Am I missing something here? I don't have the add-on just the original Gothic 2.
Can someone point me in the right direction plz? |

Ok I'll give that a try just wanna let everyone know (people with the same bug) that after a massive search I found an answer to the bug.
Here it is:
Take off all equipment (this also includes any runes armor weapons everything you have equiped) then put the rings on and it works. |

bullsh*t there are no patches for Gothic 2 and yes that kind of bug happens to alot of ppl as i can see u allready found the solution . enjoy the game  |

And I can confirm this works everytime. Just unequip everything, leave the inventory, start it again and equip the stuff you want.

Often if you start with the rings, amulet, thou occasionaly you need to remove your armor, spells and lastly weapons usually in that order.
It actually can happen in any chapter.

well just unequipp armor and that one ring and amulet and then put those 2 rings u want on and then put the armor back and then the amulet , then it should be all fine |
