Kill the Census and Excise Officer - they all look alike. |
|
Well I finally found Addhiranirr hiding in the sewers of Vivec. So she says to me that she really doesn't have anything to say as long as the Census and Excise Officer is still breathing; so what do I do about it? Well I go back to Seyda Neen and kill the lady in the Excise Warehouse. Oh, it was quite a battle, but; I finally did her in. A guard was dispatched immediately. I re-played the fight scene over and over and couldn't snuff her fast enough, she always reported the crime. I paid off the guard (1040 gold). After replaying the scene, I would lose more than the 1040 gold, so I stripped down to nothing except my athletic supporter and a sword (which I took from one of the many crates in the warehouse). So, I kill her, pay my fine, collect my booty and sell everything to the tradeperson in the small village. This took quite a lot of time, so I go back to Vivec, go to the bowels of the sewer, track down Addhiranirr and expect her to spill her guts about what she knows about the Sixth House. Well, you know what comes next, she says that she won't sing until the Excise Officer is six-feet under. I'm about ready to slap her silly, until it dawns on me. Why would the game require me to go all the way back to Seyda Neen. So, guess what, there is more than one Excise Officer.
I don't expect anyone to answer this post. I'm just venting a little steam for all the time that I spent rubbing out the Seyda Neen Excise Officer. I am continuing the game with this person dead. Hopefully, Adraria Vandacia is not an important person in the game . If she is important then be all means let me know. I didn't save a game close to that event, and would have to go back quite a ways in the game; but that's life, I guess |

I don't think that she is that important... After all, she is inside a locked government building. _________________ Make good choices. |

Your answer is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, she's not important, after all, she's locked away where she cant do anything. But, on the other hand, of course she's important, after all, she is locked away in a government building. So, which is it? The former or the latter. |

I probably would have done the same thing if I didn't talk to the guy that was looking for her. _________________ Nothing is impossible... for me!!

I thought this was part of the main quest. About the second or third thing that you're suppose to do. |

Yikes, 7 replys in less than 20 minutes.
I guess, only by what I read into sauron38's answer, is that I made a big mistake killing the woman in the Excise Office Warehouse, or else why is she locked away. Skill level 60 security required to open the door if I remember right. She must be an important character in the game later on.

I never met the lady in question (at least not so far), while the correct Census guy is eaasily identified... he's the only Imperial on the whole floor . _________________ Jaz |

If you are speaking about the women in the Census and Excise Office in Seyda Neen, locked away in the top floor, then don't worruy about it. You are ordered to kill her for the fighters guild anyway(eventually).
Oh and the Optimzer has been updated *is excited* with TONS of changes. _________________ (-[ApoK Forever]-) |

*Sigh*
NO... in my travels of Morrowind, I have found that NPC, like 2800 others to be Completely Useless. _________________ Make good choices. |

That was no lady, that was my wife. (An old Henny Youngman joke). Actually, Adraria Vandacia's name does come up. I killed her twice. Like I said, I replayed the game prior to killing her the first time and then later, Lorbumol Gro-Aglakh from the Vivec's Fighter's Guild told me to snuff her out. No particular reason, just waste her. Adraria Vandacia is the Census and Excise Office Warehouse lady found on the second floor of the Seyda Neen tax warehouse. |
